FIU and the College of Engineering and Computing offer a variety of opportunities for online and distance learning. Courses are offered in a variety of formats, including streaming video, fully online and hybrid. The following programs and courses are currently offered via distance learning:

UNDERGRADUATE COURSES
As a public university in the State of Florida, Florida International University offers the University Core Curriculum (UCC) online. This enables students worldwide to fulfill basic requirements for their own colleges and universities. Credits are fully transferable and reflect a first rate accredited university’s paradigm for distance learning. Select undergraduate courses are also offered from the College of Engineering and Computing in Industrial Engineering and Construction Management via streaming video.

  The College is part of the Florida Engineering Education Delivery System (FEEDS), a state-wide initiative for online engineering education. Courses offered through FEEDS are available by streaming video and fully online.

  GATO is an online academic support initiative that provides all students with online tutoring, practice tests, assessments, etc. in a series of subjects. It also provides links and resources for issues such as stress management, academic advising, and psychological counseling.
